🎯 The FunnyDarts spirit: we come to have fun, not to win at all costs. Fair play, good humour and respect, as if you were playing in the same living room.
1. To enter the Lhobby
- A valid FunnyMembers card that opens the Lhobby (with 1.3: the Bronze card); to join a friend, the free IdCard is enough.
- An installation that works well with your system (detection, cameras or board), checked before playing online: the functional test (🌐 Lhobby › 🧪) can be run even without a card.
- A stable, decent Internet connection.
- Having read and accepted these rules without reservation. They are numbered (version 1, version 2…): with each new version, you are asked to accept it before entering again.
- In all cases, the game is played under adult supervision.
2. How darts are scored
- In the Lhobby, darts are scored by 👁️ FunnyEye (the board’s cameras) or by a 📶 FunnyLink electronic dartboard.
- 📱 FunnyPad is never accepted in the Lhobby, even between friends: it is for playing at home.
- Each board shows how it counts (👁️ cameras, 📶 board); everyone freely chooses who to play with.
- No manual score corrections in the Lhobby: the board’s count is final. Removing your darts ends the turn: darts not yet thrown count as misses.
3. Video and minors
- Scene video is optional. The big red “Your opponent can see you” button turns it off at any time; the other board is notified.
- For video, an adult is present at each board: they confirm it by showing their FunnyMembers card to the camera (or typing its number). If one is missing at either board, there is no video for anyone.
- Minors may play, and appear on screen, only under the supervision of this adult, who keeps an eye on the game and on what the camera shows.
- The video goes directly from one board to the other (or through our relay if the router requires it): it is never recorded by FunnyDarts.
- In the Lhobby, people see each other by their nickname and emoji: never a real name required, never a card number shown.
4. What is forbidden
- Cheating, in any form: pressing on the board instead of throwing, tampering with detection, changing settings to inflate your points.
- Insults, hurtful mockery, and any shocking content in front of the camera or in a nickname.
- Using someone else’s card, or lending yours: one card, one person.
5. Reports and sanctions
- To report a player: support@funnydarts.fr (nickname, date, what happened). Reporting directly at the end of a game is coming in a future version.
- A single person can never get someone excluded: an exclusion requires reports from several different players, from different boards and connections. Abusive reports are detected.
- An excluded player loses access to the Lhobby for a period that gets longer and longer with each repeat offence, with no refund or extension of their card. The steps, as of today: 1st exclusion 7 days, 2nd 1 month, 3rd 6 months, then 1 year for each further offence. They may be reviewed.
- Appeal: write to support@funnydarts.fr; every request is looked at.
6. Your card, kept safe
- Your card number is never shown. Don’t give it to anyone.
- A card opens only one Lhobby at a time: used on another board, the first connection is closed.
- Lost your card? Don’t panic: we’ll send it back to your e-mail address.
