What I sell… and what I don’t
It’s simple: the basic Offline version, which is free, is not for sale. What I offer is my time, my know-how and a network of local craftsmen for a tailor-made project.
🎁 FunnyDarts Offline, the free basic version
- All the games, to play at home, with friends, with the family.
- Clubs and associations may use it freely at non-paying events.
- No sale, rental or inclusion in a paid offer: that is the project’s licence, so that it stays with the community.
- No guaranteed support: it is developed in my free time.
🛠️ Tailor-made support
- Several boards controlled from your bar counter.
- Your logo and your colours in the games.
- Team management and your regular players.
- Tournament organisation: registrations, groups, brackets, results.
- A tailor-made solution, designed with you for your venue.
✅ Dart detection is the FunnyDarts engine, built with open-source software: no third-party licence to negotiate for your venue.
🤝 My vision: real things, on the ground
I’m not looking to get rich from lines of code: the basic Offline version is and will stay free. What I want is something concrete.
Bars, restaurants, campsites, game rooms, works councils: helping you offer your customers a real moment of entertainment.
I come to you: we look at your venue, your customers, and together we imagine the setup that suits you.
Dart cabinets made near you, by local craftsmen, rather than imported equipment.
The basic Offline version and its games remain a gift to the community. What you pay for is the support, the installation and the furniture.
🗺️ What it could look like
An example setup: the bar counter starts the games, registers the teams and follows the tournaments on every board.
What we can build together
Start, follow and stop the games on all your boards from a single station.
Your logo, your colours and your messages, on the boards’ screens.
The regular players and teams of your venue, found again from one evening to the next.
Registrations, groups, brackets and results: tournament nights that are easy to organise.
A made-to-measure cabinet, built by a local craftsman, with the board, cameras and screen built in.
A house game, a local rule, a challenge of the month: we can invent it together.
🛡️ Safety first: think soft tip
A traditional (bristle) board also works very well with soft-tip darts. Ideal if you are worried about accidents with steel tips in a busy venue.
Simple soft-tip electronic boards can also be used: the detection cameras read them like a traditional board.
🗣️ “At home, we play soft tip 99% of the time: steel tips tend to bounce off the board’s metal wires.” — Fabien
